Taipan TM19-384 AGM Thermal Imaging Monocular
The AGM Taipan TM19-384 monocular is one of AGM’s latest models, offering advanced thermal imaging features and exceptional image quality. It is dedicated to professional applications such as patrol, rescue, hunting, as well as monitoring and detection of objects in difficult conditions. With its high performance, analytical functions and intuitive operation, this monocular becomes an indispensable tool in various fields.
Powerful Detector and Image Quality
The AGM Taipan TM19-384 is equipped with a 256×192 resolution infrared detector with a pixel size of 12 μm. This high-sensitivity detector provides exceptional image quality even in total darkness, enabling target detection in all weather conditions. In addition, the device is equipped with adaptive AGC, DDE (Dynamic Digital Enhancement) and 3D DNR (Digital Noise Reduction), which improves image quality in challenging conditions by minimizing noise and enhancing contrast.
Functions and Modes of Operation
- Distance Measurement: The monocular has a distance measurement function that allows you to determine the distance to a target by marking its top and bottom and entering its height. This is a very useful feature for operations that require precise distance determination.
- Hot Spot Mark: This function automatically detects the “hot spot” in an image – the object with the highest temperature – allowing you to quickly locate heat sources such as animals, people or fire sources.
- Mode Switch: Allows you to easily change observation modes and adjust the color palette to optimize the image for the conditions in which you are observing. The ability to change the palette helps to achieve better visibility of objects in different environments.
- DIGITAL ZOOM: The device supports 1×, 2×, 4× and 8× digital zoom for detailed observation of targets at a distance. This is especially important in scenarios where detection of targets from afar is crucial.
- Wi-Fi Hotspot: With the Wi-Fi Hotspot function, the monocular can connect to a mobile app on a smartphone, allowing remote control of the device. Once connected to the phone, the user can take photos, record videos and adjust the device’s parameters.
- Internal Memory: The AGM Taipan TM19-384 has built-in memory to store photos and video recordings to document field operations.
Battery and Performance
The monocular is equipped with a built-in rechargeable lithium battery that provides up to 8 hours of continuous operation (with Wi-Fi hotspot function disabled). With Auto Power Off and Sleep functions, the device effectively conserves power, allowing for longer use in the field.
