By integrating a high-performance image intensifier with a modern 640×512 px thermal sensor, the system enables rapid detection and reliable identification of targets in complete darkness, dense fog, smoke, and adverse weather conditions such as rain.

Dual-Band Fusion technology operating in Pulse Mode combines a natural night vision image with thermal imaging data, significantly enhancing target detection and situational awareness. The operator can choose between two thermal display modes:
High Light – highlights the entire heat source,
Outline – displays only the contours of detected objects.
This advanced Fusion technology improves target detection while preserving the clarity and natural appearance of the night vision image, allowing users to identify heat signatures without obstructing the analog night vision view.

Maximum Performance During Night Operations

The J-31FG Fusion is equipped with an integrated IR (infrared) illuminator, enabling operation in completely dark environments such as windowless buildings, tunnels, or underground facilities where no natural light is available. The device also features a video output, allowing connection to an external recorder or monitor for live viewing and mission recording.

The J-31FG Fusion offers full interpupillary distance (IPD) adjustment, diopter correction, and advanced image calibration, including parallax and optical aberration correction. These features ensure a natural, well-aligned image while significantly reducing eye strain, even during extended periods of continuous use.

The focus range from 25 cm (9.8 in) to infinity allows users to comfortably read maps, operate equipment, and perform close-range tasks, while also providing clear observation and target identification at extended distances.
