Fusion Night Vision monocular Jerry F

The Jerry-F is a complete Fusion class device, combining night vision and thermal imaging in a single solution and recently gaining popularity among users in armed forces around the world. The Jerry-F is equipped with a high-end Photonis Echo IIT image intensifier and a high-sensitivity 12μm thermal detector with 640×512 resolution. The monocular can be used as a handheld device or mounted on a helmet. The user-friendly interface and convenient ergonomic controls make the operation and use of this product extremely simple and intuitive. The device offers different image viewing options: thermal, night vision, and combined, which can be easily adapted to different environmental conditions. Depending on your preference, you can use color image polarization modes: White (the most heated part of the image glows white), Black (the most heated part of the image glows black) and Orange (the most heated part of the image glows orange). In addition, you can also select the object identification mode depending on the background glow on which the object is located, and so we have a choice: Outline – outline using the contour line of the object displayed only in White and Orange, Target Highlight – highlighting with color the shape of the object against a dark background in White and Orange , Thermal Image – the full spectrum of the thermal image superimposed on the night vision image, Breathing Alert – the appearance of a heated target is indicated by the pulsating glow of the same element.

In night vision mode, you can use an additional infrared illuminator. You can choose to work in either plain night vision or only thermal imaging mode, as well as the most advanced one consisting of a fusion of the two images superimposed on each other.

The Jerry-F is also equipped with Manual Gain Control, which adjusts the brightness of the image, ensuring the highest possible image quality even in changing light conditions. In night vision mode, in complete darkness we can use a manually activated infrared illuminator, the intensity of which can be adjusted with a dial.

As a dual-function device, the Fusion monocular Jerry F uses two modules: first is a night vision module ” I² ” generation II+ or generation III in which the objective lens has a focal length of 25mm and a field of view of 40 degrees, and the entire optical system of this module is designed so that the focusing works from 0.25m to infinity. The second is a thermal imaging module equipped with a 12μm bolometer matrix and a resolution of 640×512 and the focal length of the germanium lens is 16mm, this guarantees a field of view of 25.8 deg. x 19.1 deg. Thanks to such components, the recognition of a human figure is defined by the manufacturer as identification is 200m, recognition of a human silhouette is 400m and detection of this size of a target is 1500m.

Interesting functions facilitating orientation in the observed area are a digital compass and inclinometer, the values of which can be displayed continuously on display.

Of course, as a superb operational device Jerry F offers many possibilities for communication with external devices, either wired (Aviation port – 7-pin serial port for power supply and video transmission) or wireless (Wi-Fi is limited to communication with Tyke series rifle scope, which requires pairing with Jerry F before use). Thanks to the video serial port, the transmission of Video images is ensured, as well as activation of the PIP or picture-in-picture function, which can be a very useful feature when using the device for handheld observation.

The monocular uses two 18650 lithium batteries placed in an external container, providing up to 8 hours of operation in fusion mode. In night vision mode, the device can operate for more than 60 hours. Remarkably, the battery pack can be plugged directly into the device or attached to the back of the helmet, where it simultaneously acts as a counterweight.

The attachment, used as an eyepiece, comes with an advanced helmet mount with a full range of horizontal and vertical adjustments and is equipped with special communication connectors.

The Jerry-F device weighs 380 grams and is guaranteed to be IP67-resistant to different weather conditions.
